Pier Cove Beach

This Beach is small in size but it still a staple to this area.

Lots of Rock Hunting (wear your water shoes).

There are only 10 parking spots so you have to be early or lucky.

Smaller flight of steps down

Vaulted Restroom

If this park is full then head to West Side County Park which is just a little further down the road.

West County Park

This park is a mile away from Pier Cove.
Offers lot of picnic tables, restrooms, playground, and stairs down to a beach area to Lake Michigan
If Pier Cove's parking is full we usually come here!

Cranes Orchards

There are two orchards close by

This Farm is on the Southside of the road

Offers a variety of Apple Picking, Cherries, and Peaches.

See what they are picking now at their website here:

CRANE'S U-PICK

This farm is across Cranes Wine and Cider on the north side of the road.  We picked beautiful Honey Crisp Apples, Raspberries, and Pumpkins all in one day in late September.  This farm is gorgeous with fields of orchards.  Very friendly staff and reasonable prices with quality produce.
