Miner's Beach
Oswald's Bear Ranch
Tahquamenon State Park - Lower and Upper Falls
Grand Marais
We took a week and drove to the Upper Peninsula.
We stayed at an Airbnb in Paradise
It was a good base to do day trips.

Tahquamenon Falls
One day we did the Upper and Lower Falls of Tahquamenon Falls. These were beautiful and close together. We had a late lunch and beer at the Tahquamenon Falls Brewery and Pub. There are a lot of activities and trails you can do here. Braelynn was just over 1 year old at the time so we were limited but still had blast.

Oswald's Bear Ranch
Also on this same day we checked out Oswald's Bear Ranch since it was near Tahquamenon Falls.
You can pay extra to get your picture taken with a bear cub!
Lots of bears all over this ranch.
Some will swim, some will nap, and some will play!

Miner's Beach
This beach is beautiful
It is along Lake Superior so the water is a bit colder but the view is spectacular.

Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore
This was a great way to view this landmark.
There are boat and kayak tours as well but given Braelynn's age we viewed it at Miner's Castle.
GRAND MARAIS

A Lookout of Lake Superior
I loved this town!
Had a downtown, places to view the water, and just a beach town feel

Grand Marais Harbor Beach
The flies were bad on Lake Superior this day so we found this beach on the bay. It was calm and sandy. Perfect for Braelynn's age!
