UPPER MACATAWA NATURAL AREA
This park has it all.
Hiking, Walking, Mountain Biking, Biking, Dirt Paths, Paved Paths, Bridges, and so many Trails.
There are 2 main entrances.
If you are looking for paved paths I recommend parking on entrance off of 84th St. head south and then west from the parking lot and there is a flat paved path for littles to scooter or ride bikes. It is not a loop so you will turn around when you hit Adams. If you head north from the 84th St parking lot you will hit a beautiful overlook. This path is a bit more hilly but also has more dirt trails off of it. This is also where you will park if you want to mountain bike.
Another entrance is off of 76th Ave. This is all dirt trails that follows along a stream, fields, woods and more.

CRITTER BARN
This non-profit animal farm is a cute spot to visit
Donations appreciated
You can reserve a time slot online or just stop in to the welcome desk as well
Bunny's, Goats, Pigs, Chickens, Cats, and much much more to get a hands on experience with animals

ZEELAND FAMILY OUTING
I call this adventure a country family date!
We start our night at the Drenthe Grove Park. This Park has tennis courts, basketball courts, track, playground, baseball field, plenty of picnic area and newly pickle ball courts.
Then we head down the road to American Char. We love sitting at the picnic tables outdoor in the summer time. It has has a great atmosphere. My husband loves their wings with a side of Alabama Sauce!
My kids are fans of the mac and cheese, and I love their brisket tacos. They just recently added wood fired pizza's to their menu!
If your kids ate all their dinner, head over to Mooville West for a tasty treat! They offer many varieties of homemade ice cream, cheeses, and milk! They even have a food menu from burgers to sloppy joes if you need a quick lunch! Braelynn's favorite part is that they put a face on the kids ice cream :)
